It is that time of the year again. This time, Saturday 27th January 2018 (7 for 7:30 – 11pm++) at the Stanford Hills Tasting Room with all the usual trimmings; 5 courses of great food (of course haggis), lively music from the piper, humorous short speeches, Highland dancing, splendid colour of the tartan, the pageantry of “Tae a Haggis”, a wee dram and Athol Brose liqueur and above all a sincere reverence to Scotland’s National Bard, Robert Burns (1759-96, Rab).
